My strong belief is that this country is a wonderful place to live, work and play, raising the next generation in safety and freedom is my stated aim. By all of us working together, we can make a profound difference. I will continue to work tirelessly, ensuring that our regions present and future is nurtured and cared for. It is not about what you say, its about what you do. Its not about where you live, its about a community.

 

It is my hope to continue to broaden my work in the community, I have had the honor of serving in many ways and it has always been your opinion and contribution that matters. Having lived in Tamworth for most of my adult life, growing up there and attending Tamworth High School, I recognise the uniqueness and the potential of  regional Australia. It inspires me to continue my passionate work within this great community, making a contribution where required, able and needed.

 

I live in the Tamworth region with my greatest supporter, wife Judy. We have six adult children, three of whom live in the Tamworth district.

 

My parents, Alan and Brenda, also live in Tamworth. Alan, having been awarded the Order of Australia for his community work and contribution to vocational training in 2005.
