Pandemic-Threat or Challenge-Disaster or Opportunity

Covid19 with its various strains has seen us all reflect in different ways. We have moved to home schooling, learning from home, distance relationships, very close relationships, working from home or in some cases not working, owning a business to wondering if we own a business.

So how we look at it can sometimes make the outcome a better one than we thought.

The old glass half empty or half full scenario?

I had retired before pandemic, was happily looking forward to the next chapter of travel and doing stuff.

Scroll forward, returned from overseas just before the outbreak, was looking forward to my sons wedding and various other planned events including a 60th celebration.

It all changed basically overnight, stock market dipped, investments shuddered, events were cancelled and uncertain times loomed.

18 months on party happened in a covid break from restrictions, wedding happened with modified guest attendance, travel became local and I fell in love again with where I live.

Opportunity offered me a return to work doing stuff I love and enjoy and the future looks different but there is one.

Has the way we work and live changed ....YES. Is it better or worse, that's up to us.
